As we continue to weave works of transformation, celebration and legacy we purposefully prepare for a bright and brilliant 9th year of the Vines Art Festival. Art is a story; and we were fortunate enough to bare witness to hundreds of diverse, immersive and remarkable performances across parks on the unceded territories of xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. Stories that will leave hundreds of onlookers with hope for a vibrant future. By prioritizing the lived experiences of QTBIPOC and Disabled artists, while fostering honest ongoing relationships and conversations with our environment, we are confident the 2023 festival will showcase an ecosystem of how a community creates and heals in our own parks.
