In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Afro Van Connect in collaboration with The Vines Art Festival, are offering a free online film program for people of African Descent to connect in this time of isolation. Curated for the Black community, this workshop is a five session series where participants will envision Black futures, unlock their ancestral magic, and shoot an original film through their diasporic lens.

This program is presented as a part of Afro Van Connect’s larger Black Space Media Productions.

Black Space Media is a workshop series designed to activate and empower it’s participants to become the new leaders of tomorrow. By creating Black spaces where we are celebrated and centered, we offer our community opportunities to rise.

Creative Facilitators: Dae Nneka, Kor Kase, and Mariam Barry from Afro Van Connect.

Program Dates: Fridays, 1 PM – 2.30 PM, April 24th – May 22nd
