D Fretter is a spoken word artist and comedian residing on the unceded, unsurrendered, territory of the Qayqayt people. Best known for his conversational, heartfelt, and lyrical style. As a poet he has been described as “…like a hip-hop Andrea Gibson”. His debut poetry collection Joy + Misery charted at number 1 in African Canadian Literature and number 5 in Canadian Poetry on Amazon.
