Nathan Coburn

Nathan Coburn is a Métis freelance creator, performer, and dance artist based in Vancouver on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl'ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples.

Since 2023, they are the co-artistic director of Paper Rabbits alongside Elle Derkitt and Sophia Makarenko. Their collective co-creations and independent choreographic work has been presented by and performed at Vines Arts Festival, Kokoro Dance, Kitsilano Neighbourhood House/The Vancouver Foundation, and Belle Spirales Dance Deck.

As a freelance performer, Nathan has had the privilege of performing in works and collaborating with dance artists Shay Kuebler, Cristina Bucci, Alexis Fletcher, Sylvain Senez, Fernando Hernando Magadan, Jera Wolfe, and Kay Huang Barnes.

Nathan can most often be found scribbling in a notebook, chewing bubblegum, dancing, or crafting something.
